Provides executive leadership to: Wachovia's Marketing division, comprised of Line of Business Marketing directors; Insight and Innovation; Brand Positioning; Customer Experience and Loyalty; eCommerce, and Marketing Operations. Ms. Clark is also a member of Wachovia's Operating Committee.

Previous positions at the company: Ms. Clark joined Wachovia in 1989 as a product manager in the Capital Markets Division. She moved to the Corporate Development area in 1991. She was elected senior vice president and head of Strategic Planning for Wachovia in 1995. In 1997, she moved back to the Capital Markets Division as manager of Strategic Development to lead the build-out of a Section 20 securities subsidiary. She moved to the Treasury Services division in 1999 as head of the Treasury Product Solutions Group and became head of Treasury Services in 2001. In April 2007, she became Chief Marketing Officer.

Education: Ms. Clark received a bachelor's degree in economics from Delhi University, a master's degree from the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad, and is a Fuqua Scholar with a master's degree in business administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

She is a Certified Treasury Professional and holds Series 7, 8, 24 and 63 securities licenses.

Professional affiliations: In 2006, Ms. Clark was named one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Banking by U.S. Banker magazine, and, for the fourth year in a row, one of the 100 Most Influential People in Finance by Treasury & Risk Management.

Community leadership: She serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of National Advertisers, Inc., and on the Board of Trustees for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
